Lead your character to safety by exiting the house and reaching the safe meeting spot. For maximum points, reach the exit with no stops!

Get firewise with these tips

When you hear a smoke alarm, GET OUT AND STAY OUT! Never stop to take toys or wait for your family. Get out and stay out. Your family will be waiting for you at the safe meeting place.

Get down, get low, and get out – FAST!

In a fire, there can be a lot of smoke. The smoke is dark and poisonous making it hard to see and breathe. The smoke goes up to the ceiling but as it grows it comes back down. You need to get under it to breathe the clear air and get out. In smoke, get down, get low and get out – FAST!

Make an escape plan – and practice it

Draw the outline of your house - including all the rooms. You need to mark 2 exits out of every room – usually doors and windows. You need 2 ways out because one might be blocked in a fire. Mark them on your escape plan. Get your family to practise your escape plan regularly. At night is best, so you will know how to escape in a real fire when it is dark from the smoke.
